Getting up early in order to take Jack the spaniel for a walk was fairly easy this morning.

That is, until I got outside. It was bitterly cold but thankful no ice on the car.

It takes about 30 minutes travel time to get to Win Green Hill but the sights when I arrived were well worth while. But it was even colder on the high ground.

There were no other vehicles parked there when I arrived and I was able to watch the sun gradually illuminate the beech trees at the apex of the hill.

This was the last shot I took during my visit and the one I am most pleased with.
