Was it a horse that was housed in this building? Or more likely a succession of working horses. It is situated opposite a farm which is on the other site of the single track road. Accessed by driving through a ford – alternatively across a very narrow bridge – this building must have quite a history. Now, sadly neglected, it betrays little of its former usefulness and the life that must have gone on within.
